Rory’s dad passed away last night with Rory right by his side. I know Rory is very thankful he made it to California to be with him. We’re all very sad that our Dad, Father in Law and Grandpa aren’t with us any longer but happy that he’s not in pain and suffering. Rory was blessed with a very loving father and friend who was so proud of his son and Abby and I were blessed with a very kind and loving Father in law and Grandpa. We only wish we would’ve had the chance to get to know him and spend more time with him. I'm thankful he made it out for our wedding and that we were able to spend some time with him in February and a few weeks ago.
We love you very much Rick and will miss you and think of you daily!
Rory your girls miss you and love you very much! We wish we were with you right now to hug you. We’re thinking and praying for you and all the family and can’t wait till you get back home.
Thank you to our friends and family who have been there for Rory and for all the offers to watch Abby. We love you all and are thankful to have such great people in our lives.

Angie, Rory, Abby and family...we are so, so sorry!! We are here if there is anything at all we can do (watch Abby, help clean the house, bring some food...whatever!!). We are thinking of you and sending you our prayers...
