Cupcake Camp Seattle

My mom, Kate, Robin and I all headed down to Seattle yesterday for Cupcake Camp Seattle. We weren’t sure what it was going to entail but let me tell you it should’ve been called Cupcake CRAZY Seattle! It was insane!!!! Luckily we left early to find the place and find parking so we got there before all the crazies showed up! There was tons of local cupcake shops plus lots of other bakeries there featuring their favorite cupcakes and there was a big contest. Hands down New York Cupcakes in Bellevue got my vote along with Goodies Bake Shop in Monroe. I was so disappointed in Wink, Cupcake Royale and Trophy Cupcakes. You hear such good things about them and honestly I could only eat one bite, if that of each of their cupcakes. I will definitely make the drive to Bellevue or Monroe if I don’t feel like making my own! Since we got there early we got a great seat and got to watch lots of greedy cupcake fans. Like I said it was insane! One gal actually came up to our table, eyeballed our plate of cupakes we didn’t like and hadn’t finished and asked if we were gonna finish one of them. She told us we looked like we didn’t have germs. Seriously?? And she actually took it from us, with a bite taken out of it and all. We were all pretty amazed.
