Mommy has been looking forward to the Polar Express Train ride for 2 years now. One of the ladies that Mommy met at her Scrapbooking retreat in Oregon told her about the Polar Express Train that they do in Oregon. Mommy decided to look it up online and she found out that they have one in Washington as well. Last year December filled up too fast so this year we booked our tickets in November. The lady also told Carla about it so she was excited to get tickets too. We decided to get tickets for the same ride and all caravanned down together. What a fun day/night. The ride was almost like the movie. We wore our pajamas, the conductor walked through the train to punch or tickets, we had cookies and hot chocolate, we sang Christmas carols, and the best part, WE WENT TO THE NORTH POLE! We picked Santa up at the North Pole and he walked through the train and gave each and every kid a special bell that only us kids could hear. What a fun ride. We were all wiped out and Emmie, Nat and I all fell asleep pretty much when we got in the car.
